Morgan is a Singapore based cinematographer and a graduate of the English National Film and Television School and the Budapest Cinematography Masterclass. Some of his mentors have included Brian Tufano BSC (BAFA nominated for Billy Elliot, Trainspotting), Billy Williams BSC (Oscar Winner for Gandhi, On Golden Pond) and Vilmos Zsigmond ASC (Oscar Winner for Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Deer Hunter).
He has shot feature films, music videos, documentaries and corporate videos. He speaks English, French, Cantonese and Mandarin. He is familiar with 4K, 2K, Red, 35mm, 16mm, HD, DSLR and various other digital formats.
Morgan is a Hong Kong permanent resident and was a Senior Lecturer at the Open University of Hong Kong where he designed the cinematography curriculum for their BFA in 'Cinematic Design and Photographic Digital Art'. He has also taught part-time at the City University of Hong Kong, the Film Academy of the Baptist University of Hong Kong. He has also taught part-time in Singapore at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University and Lasalle College of the Arts.
Morgan currently resides in Hong Kong.
