Morgan is a director of photography and senior lecturer in cinematography.
He is a graduate of the English National Film and Television School and also the Northern Film School. Some of his mentors have included Brian Tufano BSC (BAFTA for Billy Elliot), Billy Williams BSC (Oscar for Gandhi) and Vilmos Zsigmond ASC (Oscar for Close Encounters of the Third Kind).
He has shot feature films, music videos and documentaries. Morgan has shot in countries as diverse as the UK, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and the USA. He is familiar with Red RAW, Arri RAW, 35mm, 16mm and various other digital formats.
Morgan has taught at the Open University of Hong Kong, the City University of Hong Kong, the Film Academy of the Baptist University of Hong Kong, the School for Higher and Professional Education at the Vocational Training Council of Hong Kong, the School of Film and Television of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.
Morgan resides in Hong Kong.
